El HI97735 es un fotómetro portátil avanzado para la medición de dureza total en agua de hasta 750 mg/L (ppm). Este medidor tiene un sistema óptico superior que utiliza un detector de referencia y filtros de interferencia de banda estrecha para mediciones extremadamente rápidas y repetibles.
Al pasar a través de varias capas de suelo y rocas, el agua de lluvia disuelve algunas sustancias minerales. El arnés total es indicativo de la presencia de calcio y magnesio en el agua. Los altos niveles de dureza pueden causar incrustaciones, lo que reduce la eficiencia de la transferencia de calor en las torres de enfriamiento. La dureza también aumenta el consumo de jabones y detergentes en lavadoras o lavanderías industriales. El HI97735 utiliza una adaptación del método 130.1 recomendado por la EPA. Cuando se agrega el reactivo a una muestra que contiene magnesio y calcio, la muestra se vuelve en un tono rojo violeta; cuanto mayor es la concentración, más profundo es el color. El rango bajo mide de 0 a 250 mg/L de CaCO3, el rango medio mide de 200 a 500 mg/L de CaCO3 y el rango alto mide de 400 a 750 mg/L de CaCO3.
El HI97735 tiene un sistema óptico innovador que ofrece un rendimiento superior en precisión, repetibilidad y el poco tiempo que se necesita para realizar una medición. Este medidor compacto e impermeable es extremadamente fácil de usar con un modo tutorial que guía al usuario gráficamente, paso a paso, en la realización de una medición. El uso de un LED de matriz de puntos retroiluminado permite el uso de teclas virtuales que hacen que el funcionamiento del medidor sea muy intuitivo, incluyendo la selección de diferentes unidades de medida, la revisión de datos GLP, la recuperación de las últimas 50 mediciones y la personalización del medidor según las preferencias del usuario.
El HI97735 es completamente impermeable, incluyendo el soporte de la cubeta que está diseñado con bordes para proteger la trayectoria óptica de los arañazos de la cubeta y un compartimento de batería con junta que contiene tres baterías AA comunes. El diseño compacto se adapta cómodamente a la mano para usar en el terreno o en una mesa para uso en un laboratorio. La pantalla LCD mide 71 mm (2,75") por 37 mm (1,6") y está retroiluminada para una fácil visualización en todas las condiciones.

El HI98129 hace que medir el pH sea rápido y fácil. Este medidor liviano e impermeable ofrece un pH de alta precisión en bajo rango CE/TDS (CE 0 a 3999 µS/cm / TDS 0 a 2000 ppm) y mediciones de temperatura en una sola unidad de mano.
